Marina Bay City: my statement

Marina Bay City is a residential and resort project in Lombok. It is developed by PT Bali Real Estate Investments and PT Marina Bay Investments, whose management boards are Jamie McIntyre and Christina Natalia.
Kinnara's role. Kinnara was the project's marketing and listing partner. It advertised the villas, and buyers found them through the platform. Every buyer contract was made with the developer companies, not with Kinnara or with me.
Why I reported him, and why I walked away. In October 2025 the relationship broke down, and I became concerned about how the developer was dealing with buyers. I chose to protect the investors rather than the deal. In November 2025 Kinnara lodged its first report with the Indonesian police, and it has supported buyers with the police and Australian authorities since. I refused to keep working alongside Mr McIntyre and withdrew from the project, resigning my roles. Kinnara no longer works with him or his companies in any capacity.
The smear campaign. Soon after I reported him, a campaign against me began: a book, look-alike websites carrying my name, paid "news" articles on sites styled as international newspapers, and repeated posts to Kinnara's clients. I believe that campaign was orchestrated by Jamie McIntyre in response to my reports, and it is the subject of my proceedings against him in the Federal Court of Australia (QUD 273 of 2026). An interim injunction granted in May 2026 was discharged in August 2026 on procedural grounds, with no finding on the merits. The case continues.
If you have read one of those articles, compare it with the facts on this site, including my failures page, where I set out my history myself.
Our own land, our own governance. Marina Bay City was never the whole story in Lombok. Kinnara Capital holds multi-million-dollar land holdings of its own in West Lombok, including its land in Buwun Mas, Sekotong. That land has nothing to do with Marina Bay City. It will be developed by Kinnara Capital under its own governance, with its own contractors and its own controls, starting with Saraya Beach Resort & Residences.
If you bought at Marina Bay City. Your contract is with the developer company named on it. Ask that company in writing about the status of your villa. Take independent legal advice, and report any loss to the Australian Federal Police and the Indonesian police.
